The People of Praise Action Team brings together high school students and adults working to bring Christ's love to impoverished communities in real and tangible ways.
Allendale: Our efforts to build a Christian city in the Allendale area of Shreveport, Louisiana are gaining momentum. Recent media coverage and the endorsement of government officials are positioning us for great success. Our Allendale team members live in the neighborhood and are developing friendships and bringing the light of Christ to a forgotten people. In the last few years, we have built several homes and have been invited into the homes of our neighbors to provide much needed repairs.
Northern Virginia: We support our city building work in Allendale in a variety of ways. We are all working to develop construction and maintenance skills. We are developing our ability to lead, plan, and teach others what our Father is about as He redeems our world. We are focused on developing hearts of service by learning to serve as Jesus served. We are committed to helping raise the money needed to accomplish this work. We enjoy the fruit of Christian friendships.
