Many things have gone wrong with the world God has made. God has a plan for putting them right and you can be a part of it. Come together with us to find out how you can join in what God's doing.
Dawn has come and day is breaking in our world - and it is breaking in each of us - because Christ is alive in his people. Dawn means night is over, but we don't yet see the full light of day. This is the world we live in; good and evil are mixed together.
Look at our world. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Some people have access to medical care, some don't. Babies are aborted every day. Christians are divided; they don't worship together. Divorce divides families. Pornography is rampant.
The world's a mess. It's not what God wants. He is working toward something better.
Our Father wants a revolution. He wants his beloved Son, the risen Christ, present in every part of the world - including your part. He wants men and women to be filled with the power of his Spirit.
The Holy Spirit opens up a new relationship with God and each other. The Spirit gives the power - the muscle - to live the life of Christ.
On this weekend you will hear stories of hearts changed, evil defeated, addictions overcome, lives transformed, individuals healed, people set free from sin, men and women, young and old, able to love each other.
If you wish, we will pray with you to be baptized in the Spirit.
In our times, God is pouring out his Spirit in an unexpected way. He is baptizing people with his Holy Spirit. By 2050 more than 1 billion people - Lutherans, Episcopalians, Catholics, Methodists, Christians from every denomination - will be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
